夏の終わりに At the end of summer

みなさま、いかがお過ごしですか？

ワタクシは、、、前回の投稿から季節は巡り、もう残暑の季節ですね。フィンランドはもう初秋です。とはいえ、日によってはいまだに気温が20度近くまで上がり、「まだ夏を楽しんでいたい！」と、少し寂しい気持ちになる時期でもあります。

夏の終わりに、我が家はフィンランド南西部にあるムーミンワールドに行ってきました。ムーミンは日本でも大人気ですよね。ショーの字幕に日本語が出るあたり、以前は日本からの観光客も多かったことがうかがえます。

このムーミンワールド、本当にムーミンの世界に入り込んだような、自然との共存を体感できる素敵な場所です。ナーンタリの街も、散策するにはぴったりのアットホームなビーチタウンです。

How is everyone doing?

Since my last post, the seasons have changed and Finland is already heading into early autumn. Some days still reach nearly 20°C, though, which makes me wish summer could last a little longer.

At the end of summer, our family visited Moominworld in southwestern Finland. The Moomins are very popular in Japan too, and the Japanese subtitles during the shows are a reminder of how many Japanese tourists used to visit.

Moominworld really feels like stepping into the world of the Moomins, surrounded by nature. Naantali is also a lovely, cozy seaside town, perfect for a stroll.
