ぶらっと本屋さんへ Pop into the bookstore

予定していなかった場所にフラッと立ち寄ることがあります。今回は街中にある本屋さんです。オンラインで本を購入し、オンラインで読むことも増えた今日この頃ですが、私はやはり昔ながらの本屋さんの本棚を眺めて気になる本を手に取って見る方が好きです。というわけで、今日はこの本を購入しました。日本文化はフィンランドでも人気がありますが、文化といってもアニメや料理から実に幅広いです。この本は、柳宗悦の民藝の美しさや価値について書かれたもので、彼の考えが英語で出版されていることは素晴らしいと思います。

That's why I bought this book today. Japanese culture is also popular in Finland, and it includes a wide range from anime to cuisine. This book discusses the beauty and value of Mingei, as conceptualized by Soetsu (Muneyoshi) Yanagi, and I think it's wonderful that his thoughts have been published in English.
