トーベ・ヤンソンの世界へ Into the World of Tove Jansson
現在、ヘルシンキ市立美術館（HAM）では、ムーミンのキャラクターが登場する、トーベ・ヤンソンによる初期から晩年にかけての公共作品を一堂に紹介する展覧会「トーベ・ヤンソン：フレスコ画と魔法使いの帽子」が開催されています。 なかでも見逃せないのが、1984年にポリ市の幼稚園タイクリンハットゥ（フィンランド語で“魔法使いの帽子”）のために描かれた三部作《夏》《春》《秋》です。ムーミンたちが季節の中を旅する姿が、細部にわたって丁寧に描かれており、眺めていると見るたびに新たな発見があります。何度見ても飽きることのない、魅力あふれる作品です。 Currently on display at HAM (Helsinki Art Museum), Tove Jansson: Frescoes and Hobgoblin's Hat brings together a range of the artist’s public works from both the early and later years of her career, many featuring beloved Moomin characters. A standout piece in the exhibition is the three-part mural Summer , Spring , and Autumn , completed in 1984 for the Taikurinhattu (“Magic Hat” in Finnish) kindergarten in the city of Pori. Depicting the Moomins journeying through the seasons, the triptych is rich in detail and rewards repeated viewing with new discoveries. It remains endlessly captivating and full of charm.
